Shooting My Mouth Off is the personal blog of Isaac Howlett, a freelance copywriter with a wide range of experience in multiple industries.

Beginning his career in the charitable sector, Isaac worked as Marketing Officer for the internationally recognised MedicAlert Foundation before becoming an in-house copywriter for UK communications giant Carphone Warehouse.

Isaac was subsequently made Communications Manager at Hungarian in-car entertainment innovators Dension Audio Systems, where he devised and developed a new website and communications policy.

Currently employed as General Manager at specialist security job board, JobSecurity, Isaac is responsible for driving traffic to the site using content marketing, SEO and social media and has increased visits to the site by 132% in the first six months.

He has also found time to write regularly for Brighton & Hove’s The Argus, Sussex’s number one free weekly magazine Latest 7 and Thai/British arts and culture magazine, Supersweet. The majority of work found on the blog was commissioned by these publications.
